#Linkedin overkill. When the use of alerts goes wrong

The #Linkedin browser alert when one of my contacts update smth is a overkill guys. 

Browser alert is for new messages as I would like to have Linkedin open when working. So by work I mean, I can't just open to read smth all day long.

I also think with improvements of the mail and updates, Linkedin could have "nailed" it all.
